unlike other proprietary systems, FCIS allows access from multiple platforms. currently, there are shipping clients for macintosh, windows, windows nt and dos. a linux client is under development.

additionally, if the end user doesn't happen to be near a computer with the client software, the majority of the features of FirstClass are accessible through any web-browser.
